This bass plays great, but weighs in at almost 11.5 lbs.
It was in my possession for a while, but returned it due to the weight. Great buy for someone at $435

My back hurts just looking at this, but I bet it sounds awesome and can be had for a great price...
Foot switch or no, that is a screaming deal on a killer amp. Mine will be pried from my cold, dead hands.

Loud. It has an industrial strength output transformer. (It would be hefty to lug around--mine stays in my practice studio.) And you can always hunt down the pedal separately.
Managed to talk with a surprisingly helpful GC employee to get a feel on the condition. Said it wasn't too banged up and only one knob is a little scratchy.
Came out to $350 after tax and shipping so it's still a pretty good deal.
If all else fails I've always got the generous return policy to fall back on.

This bass has been bought and (I presume) returned several times over the past few months. It was in Indy at one point and I was going to check it out but never did. Not saying anything is wrong with it, just reporting what I've observed.
I believe it was also at one time being sold on consignment at Bass Central. Check out the page link below and scroll a little more then halfway down the page looking for "Used on Consignment In Good Shape Lakland Standard 55 Trans White/Ebony"
