An old Texas blues move is to quiet the band down during a solo, do a little rap in the mic to get everyone in the crowd to raise their glasses, and then your guitar player downs a pint with one hand while he plays a one handed solo with the other.

I played rugby and learned to take guys like him seriously. When you decide to let them know they shouldn't be running in your direction by blasting them into next week, it is a bad decision. It hurts a lot, and they don't notice.

Does a guy like him really need moves?

I would love to go see your band. I am 6-2 also but maybe tip the scales at 170 (after pasta). You remind me so much of a guitar player I once played with. I love that guy, but he looks nothing like you (short and bald). I don't know why I'm posting this other than I'm not gigging tonight.

Whoops! Almost lost the keyboard there. LOL I'll clean up the coffee in a minute.....

Our drummer is a great guy, keeps impeccable time (except when he is goofing us), and even encourages us, "the string section", to have rehearsals without him when he can't make it. He and I get on very well both playing and otherwise. He has absolutely NO interest in playing anything else, thus, probably couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag with a guitar.

Next time we play, I hope to have someone video us. Its a good tool. Everyone should do it. We need more video posts of posters' bands!

I just watched your "Tie Your Mother down" vid. Your guitarist doesn't need to move. He looks amazing. Are you sure he's only 6'2"? The Les Paul looks like a toy, yet he makes it blaze.

You got any more vids to post, I like what you did with that one.
