Guitar Moves

He just needs to move. Rock is pretty simple: 1. Feel music. 2. Be moved by music to do something stupid looking. As long as what he's doing looks authentic and not like some elaborate joke being played on the music, he should be able to do anything; he just needs to do something.

Don't be afraid to look stupid. If you mute any rock concert video everybody looks stupid. It comes with the territory.

Well since unique literally means ONE of a kind, no, that's not much better. You might say unusual, different, peculiar, odd, exceptional, weird, uncommon or unconventional. Sorry for the thread derail and grammar nazi-ism. could not help myself. carry on!

John Brewster forged a career out of standing absolutely stock still. Stationary! - it defined him. He hardly moved a muscle and he was a legend! A genuine guitar hero. He was so imposing, dramatic, and iconic. He really sold it. And he was altogether, completely recognizable. Have a squiz,

Have him sport his guitar as a gun and have him shoot each one of you and when he does you all play dead.

Since he's a big dude get a seasaw one of the smaller members stand on one end of it then he can jump and launch them. Have a hoop set to fit a human for them to go through. Bonus if it's on fire....that's not too dangerous.

Really it doesn't need to be anything crazy he can just let the music direct his moves.

Always dangerous posting an Angels reference, you'll trigger every Aussie on TB wanting to tell the rest of the world how good these guys were and should they have been as big as ACDC. Which is true. John's legendary "statue" stance acted as a counter to Doc's (lead singer) manic stage presence, as well as differentiating themselves from manic guitar heroes like Angus etc.

For a big fella like we're looking at here with only a few moves realistically achieve able, a statue stance could work really well if coupled with an occasional burst of activity, like an extended solo for example. The rest of the time he should be stock still. Think of Iron Maiden bringing a giant Eddie to life during their concerts. Get him to accentuate his size with some big heeled boots and a big assed hat - I remember seeing Stevie Ray Vaughn live and left thinking the guy was a giant when in reality he was only 5'5". Then when he does his one or two moves during the show it should bring the house to its feet.

Since we're talking white faces and /poiz/ the deep squats are effective and even more powerful accompanied by a second guitar and or bassist. It starts up around :58 but explodes around 1:47. Ha! That's real as it gets!
