Are Bill Lawrence (not Wilde) still in operation? The website looks like something from 15ya.

Bill is sadly long gone and Wilde is the continuation of the real Bill Lawrence designs. Wilde is as close as you will get to Bill's original designs.

Be wary of anything with the "/////// OBL" logo on it, like this:

but grab what you can if it is just 'OBL' without the forward slashes, like this:

I'm aware of the history and that Wilde is the continuation of Bill's designs. However, I have a couple of L500XL from Bill Lawrence, not Wilde, and was interested in adding an L250 and L500N to an HSH Super Strat I have. The idea was to get a 'matching' set* so I wondered if they were still making them.

* I know it doesn't really matter and I know I can mix and match brands, both as an engineer and a tinkerer, but I thought it would be an interesting project and they're not expensive. I just wondered if the pre-historic looking website was still current and the PUs were still being made and delivered.

PS: Later another guitar will get a set of Wildes, another EMGs and the last one Laces as PUs are relatively inexpensive, I can solder and want some tonal variation for reasonable cost .
