Guitarist playing Bass - Feedback ;)

Very much like the vibe and admire the restraint.

I would have preferred a slightly warmer and rounded jazz sort of tone for She's Got that Sparkle. The feel conjures up a balmy evening at a late night club at some island resort for me. (Would work great as background track for a movie rainy night in the city scene too btw. Y'now with reflections in windows and that sort of thing?) But that's just a matter of personal preference and style rather than any shortcoming on your part.

Nicely done. Welcome to the ranks of recording bassists. :thumbsup:

Re-visited your piece: Much 'mood'. That in itself is a difficult thing to pull off. And you guys did it well.

That's good ;) I see myself as a guitarist because I earn my money with the guitar and not (yet?) with the bass ;)

That low,slinky kinda thing is best served by a laid back groovin' bassline!
I can imagine a fretless bass doing the same lines you did on the first tune.

Right now I have a Fender Jazz and an Preci - unfortunately not yet a fretless.
But when I find the right i'll take it! I love the fretless sound and I also imagine it would fit im my music/style

For my taste there could be a bit more bass, but I heard others complaining that there is too much bass, specially on plasm. It's hard to find the gap between fat bass and too much low end...
