Hi all. I'm looking at the Guyker saddles as guinea pigs to modify a 4003 V2. There's lots of talk about the V2 saddles bottoming out before optimum action is obtained. Looking at the Guyker ....

The overall dimensions on those saddles are close enough to work. Just need the height adjustment spacing to determine if they'll fit the grooves in the V2 tailpiece for starters. The intonation screw offset might be an issue too, not to mention it will take 2 of these bridges to get a full set of saddles that have the intonation screws on the same side. Even at $45 for 2 of these, it looks cheaper than running down a set of Hipshot or Schaller saddles to experiment with. I don't really want to shave down the stock saddles since replacements are likely unobtainable without buying a complete V2.
I guess I should ask if anyone has attempted this yet and how successful was it?
