Double Bass H.R. Wilhelm Bass Bow

I found a Holbein 50/2C on Craigslist last Jan. I have been practicing daily. Got to looking at my bow that came with it and it is a H.R. Wilhelm (* - a little star after the name). My question is, is this a good bow and how do I find out anything about the bass and bow. Found some on the bass, a beginners bass but the bow looked older so I was wondering about it. Its in great shape. Any thoughts?

Yes I have googled, binged, and MyWebSearch. Keep getting basic stuff. Never a price or history.
