    Hello guys,

My adventure with the double bass continues and I am now focusing on Walking.

My teacher gave me an exercise to write a Walking line with half notes and include rythm variations. The purpose is to focuse more on the rythm than the notes.

So, I was wondering if anyone could recommend me some tunes where the double bass does this kind of thing.

    Something like this:

    Thank you for the help!

  5. It Could Happen To You, Relaxin’ with The Miles Davis Quintet. PC plays fantastic two-beat throughout the whole tune.

IIRC, I Could Write A Book from the same record has great two-beat on the head as well.

    Thank you, very good indeed!

I've been listening to LaFaro this past few days and, uau!, it's just beautiful!
