Hand Pain

I was playing bass yesterday and then went onto my laptop.
I started to notice a pain on the inside of my left arm and around both thumbs. I try to stretch my hands regularly.
In the morning the pain was gone. Should i be concerned or is it ok once the pain is gone?

I'm sure I'm not as knowledgable on getting rid of and preventing hand pain as some others here, but one thing I've noticed that really puts my forearms in pain is if I do one thing for too long of a period of time. Some days I would spend more time than usual on the computer, and I would have to go and do something else for awhile because of being uncomfortable and feeling pain (sounds similar to your situation, but that might not be the case; how long were you on your laptop by the way?).

Also, it could be your posture at your laptop I suppose. Just make sure you aren't sitting uncomfortably or putting your arms and hands at awkward angles; maybe that will help. Aside from those ideas, I would just keep up with stretching, and keeping your hands relaxed. That will only do good for you I'm sure.

Like I said, I'm not knowledgable on this stuff, but I figure just throwing these ideas out there might help. Good luck!
