hang bass high or low

    I've always heard that if the bass is too low that it could cause back problems. I think it depends all on what is comfortable.
     
  2. One thing that is super important is posture... I've just turned 18, and I've already done my back three times... The only thing i can put it down to is stooping over my bass. I play with it against the bottom of my rib cage, which is a reasonable hieght, but i used to always hunch forward when i played. if you like being able to walk DON'T DO THIs!!!
    Learn to play with proper posture...
    The same goes with your hands if you don't want carpel tunnel Syndrome!!!
