Hangin' With the Fam

Besides spending time with my actual family today and getting a few chores done around the house, I also took time to put a new set of strings on my Peavey Fury that had been without strings for some time. Forgot how much I liked the Fury. So anyway, I've never done this before but I put them all together for a family shot.

Here's what's pictured from left to right:
  • Mid to late 80's Charvel PJ Bass. Given to me in 1987 by my brother.
  • Epiphone Thunderbird. Bought if off Facebook Marketplace for $100 because I've always wanted a Thunderbird.
  • 2000 MIM Fender Jazz 5. Traded for this with a guy in St. Louis for an Ampeg 1x15 cabinet. He also happened to be the owner of a local brewery and I got a free beer.
  • 1983-1984 Peavey Fury. My mom bought this for me Christmas 1985 brand new after the first 2 cheap basses I bought at pawn shops quit working.
  • 2013 MM Bongo 5. Bought it brand new, most money I've ever spent on a bass and don't regret it for a second.
I will never sell the Charvel or the Peavey, too much sentimental value.

Very nice family of basses. What year is the Epiphone T-bird?
