Hanging a Headless Ibanez on the Wall

I have an Ibanez EHB1505S I want to hang on the wall, but am worried that the headstock isn't wide enough, so I came up with a little bit of insurance.

Here's how I use an allen wrench to give me peace of mind:

Cool trick. the Hercules hangers that I have come with those extension thingies so that small headstocks/headless fit there too.

Just have 3 Roadies on 8 hour shifts to hold it.............that's what I would do .

Necro-update: Apart from Hercules + series, I had luck with my mobile On-Stage stand (GS7800 u-mount):

Could you post a close-up picture? My Steinberger has essentially no widening at the head.

That’s either insane or genius, depending how well it works!

My Kramer has an aluminum neck and no headstock. It does not widen out near the top, nor does it have space to slide an allen wrench through. It lives on my floor stand, though the Voyager body does not really fit well on it either.

A trick I’ve used many times at the shop (for Tele’s so they don’t hang on the E tuner) is to simply step on the cradle and make it skinnier.
Works every time.

Jokes aside, I am pondering about a piece of wood that is to cover the space from nut to the bottom row (hugging from below) of string posts.
And make it protrude on the side just enough to fit those hangers (Normal headstock width?).
It would not be as removeable as a chopstick or a wrench but with a bit of sanding and a coat of right paint, could be seen as an upgrade even.
I will have pictures if I ever commit to doing this. (probably nothing before the next string change)
