Hey all, I’m going to check out a bass from FB marketplace tonight. I’m having a hard time finding any info on it online. Hoping someone can help me with any information about it. Seller is asking $175.

Offbrand generic precision. I'd pass for that price. You can get a nice Squier for that price on Craigslist or FB Market Place.
Just an FYI for the future.Hey all, I’m going to check out a bass from FB marketplace tonight. I’m having a hard time finding any info on it online. Hoping someone can help me with any information about it. Seller is asking $175.
If this is a first bass I'd say no way, too many potential issues and the price is too high. If you're looking for something as a mod project offer $100 if you like it and if they say no walk away.
Appreciate the advice. I’m not much of a bassist, more of a drummer and guitarist. I was just looking for a decent lower level working bass to record ideas and doodle around on. I’ve decided to check out an Ibanez soundgear with EMGs and hard case. The case alone makes it a better deal. It’s also sold by a local thrift shop I’ve done business with before. As opposed to a random guy on Facebook.
I just couldn’t find any info on the ZZG,ZZC? and was curious if I found something maybe kinda unique at a decent price point. I do like the way it looks and was willing to see how it felt. But, the Price seemed a bit steep and the Seller is firm. so I wanted to ask some people in the know and found this forum. thanks to the advice here I’ve decided to not waist either of our time and move forward toward the Ibanez.
(Snip) ... All in all though, it feels and sounds great. The knob closest to the bridge is a little gritty feeling when turning it, around the noon spot. And it has a dented tuning cap, but doesn’t seem to effect much at the moment. Thank you all for your advice and info, y’all rock.(/Snip)

The language is sometimes called castellano. You can activate (automatic, audio-generated) subtitles in the video, then pause at the part that interests you and type the line(s) on Google Translate.I can’t understand the language in the video, but by the motion he made when describing the tuners, I’m guessing his experience is the same.
