Kind of stupid, pointless even, but I'm bored and this is what is weighing on me currently.

I have a hardshell case that says "HAMER" on it and a Lakland Skyline that will likely occupy it (once it gets here tomorrow). Long story short, sold the Hamer bass, case was too big to ship, so I'm keeping it. I hope the bass fits it!!!

What do you think I should do?

Keep it stock, paint or sticker over it, "fake it"?

Hi.

right "time" under it.

/thread

I was going to suggest Mc in front of it :).

OR

Change the A to an O.

In all seriousness though, I'd assume that a Hamer case is worth more than a regular run-of-the-mill Fender style one, so it might make sense to sell it and to buy a "correct" one with or without a desired logo.

I prefer no logos though as a logo makes it all that easier to the thief to spot the case/instrument he/she is supposed to nick.

Regards
Sam

Can't touch this!

But seriously, how big is that it can't ship? I've shipped/received plenty of HSC-sized boxes.

The bass that WAS in it went to Australia, in 2 pieces because it was too big... shipping the case was not feasible.

I'm actually LOVING the "HOMER" idea. May have to paint him on there, too!
MC Hamer isn't half bad either :)

I have an Ibanez case that I picked up years ago when I needed a spare standard rectangular HSC & that was all Sam Ash had in stock. I made some abstract geometric stencils, laid them over the "Ibanez" logo, & hit them with some spraypaint. It's now A) completely unrecognizeable as "Ibanez", 2) totally unique, & 3) artsy-fartsy.
