I've been playing bass in a band for a while now and it's become apparent that a lot of our songs need an extra kick from the bass, I've been looking at a lot of bass distortion pedals and they all seemed a bit pricey until I found this pedal from thomann, I was wondering if anyone has used one of these and what kind of sound they have, I'm looking for a low end heavy fuzz sound that isn't too tinny.

If anyone can suggest a better cheap alternative I would be very thankful :)

Hi,
I ordered the BOD-1 out of curiosity some time ago. It's basically a Boss ODB-3 clone.
Build quality is ok (metal casing) and the sound is well...like an ODB-3. Bypass seems fine too, so give it a shot, if the Boss ODB-3 is what you're searching for soundwise.
