Harley Benton Custom Line CLR-ResoBass

Did anyone ever pick one of these up? I would love to know how it plays. Also I am getting into doing a little bit of percussive drumming on the body of my acoustics and I am not sure how the metal will handle it or if the resonator would make sounds if the body was struck. Anyone know if it is possible to do percussive drumming on this?

Thomann stopped sending most things to Russia the other day. They still send some of the Harley Benton stuff but anything Fender or Dean or the like - Forget It. I was actually indecisive about the HB or the Dean and them not sending the Dean Resobass here anymore made up my mind for me.

Thanks for clearing that up. I have at least 4 basses and a guitarron that I want to buy and the other day nothing shipped here anymore. I was thinking of just flying over to Germany and picking things up but after doing some research into this CITES mess it looks like that could be problematic getting them back to Russia too.
To tell the truth, I like maple better anyway but the basses I want mostly use rosewood.
I wonder what they are going to do about it because there is a lot of money to be lost on this.

This is all pretty new. With the proper certification they will be able to ship again. I assume that they will file the appropriate paperwork with their manufacturing companies and then start shipping again. Just give them some time.
