Looks interesting, but I know nothing about it other than what's there on the webpage.

EDIT: I noticed that the page says "Available since October 2014," so it apparently is a new product.

Hi.

I know there's going to be tons of people participating on this thread who'll disagree, but I think that's very cool.
Especially the SN construction.

If my experiences with HB instruments and Thomann in general is any indication, that bass will be a hot seller for a price like that.

but keep spending money on Peaveys I've an Epi Thunderbird but the SN on the Benton makes it a cut above the Epi.

I'm kinda hoping HB does some color variations on this TB. If they did an Arctic white, I'd be way on it.

haha this, I'd buy it if it was artic white!

I'm not sure about the set neck tho, I would definitely mod that bass to make it a 5er, and I'm not sure that's a good thing to do on a set neck

I'm actually looking for something that will turn "sixty and senile" into "slightly less pathetic would-be rockstar." Maybe the white T-bird would do it.

Maybe it really is an active rig; the view of the back appears to show a battery compartment cover.

EDIT: The discussion about whether the HB Thunderbird was active or passive wasn't in this thread, but in the Thunderbird Club thread here on TB, IIRC.

Judging from the pictures alone - it's a pretty nice looking T-bird clone.
