Harte VX3500, AMPEG BA300, BA600 115 or 210

I'm a fairly new bassist and play a 4 string, 24 fret Ibanez srx500. I've been playing through a PA and have finally saved up a few buck for an amp. I personally like southern rock and blues but my group has just added a female lead singer and have started leaning toward an alternative sound.

Currently I'm looking at the Hartke VX3500 350W with 4 VX 10" speakers or the Ampeg BA600 600s with either a 1 15" or 2 X 10" speakers.,Both set ups have tube preamps and solid state amps. I've been hearing that Ampeg's parent company Loud may be in financial trouble so I don't know if that should be a concern. Let me know your thoughts. I'm also considering similar separate head Harke 5500 500w with the hartke VX410 4 x 10 speakers cabinet (i like the sound of the paper cones and it keeps me within my budget) set ups.

Thoughts comments? Especially are 4 10"s @ 350w speakers better than 2 10"s @ 600w and will a single 15" be too muddy.
