Hi all
This is my first post here. I have been reading the forums for months but finally I have a question that I havent been able to find an answer to.
I have a Hartke 350 watt amp that I am hoping to use with a lighter cabinet than the one I have (old peavey 420tx.. weighs about 90 pounds
).
I am looking quite seriously at buying a contra ex to get some of the advantages of the Acoustic Image gear (weight, speaker configuration) without yet having to fork out for a new amp or combo.
I figure once I do have the cash to buy either a Focus or Contra then the EX will be a nice add-on.
Can anyone suggest what kind of pitfalls I might come up against by combining the Hartke amp with the Contra EX?
The only one I can see at the moment is needing a cable with a jack on one end and a speakon connector on the other.
Are there other (maybe technical issues) that I am not taking into account here?
regards
Paul
