I just got the 3500C last week. This will be my first real rig. I have only had combo's up to now. So far I really like this head, I don't have a cab for it yet so I have only heard it through headphones but so far it is way better than my combo. I can't wait to get a good cab for this thing and let it rip:eek:

number please:D

Nice head! Let us know when you get a cab and post some pics of it.

Congratulations!!! You're member #201

Welcome to the Hartke Club.

I'd like the club's group opinion(s): I'm starting over again with my rig and I've narrowed down the cabinet choices to a a Hydrive 410/410 stack, a Hydrive 410/115 stack or an XL 410/410 stack. I've always liked the original, non-tweeter XL tone (fast but not hissy or overly clacky) but they are just back-breakingly heavy and lack casters to help move 'em. They are, however, a fair bit less $ than the newer Hydrives so that's certainly a vote in their favor. I'm a rock player so volume matters, and power is almost an anti-issue - I have a QSC PLX3402, so I'll have to be careful to not feed any of 'em too much power....especially the XLs.

So my question for the group -- if you were in my shoes, what would you get today?

I'd get the HyDrive 410/410. Powerful + have those little wheels. :)
