Forgive me if this was answered in a previous thread, but I love Hartke bass heads and own a LH1000 and I want to know if Larry and Hartke are going to step into the lightweight micro amp age and give us die hard Hartke players a awesome powerful micro amp head???

Larry.... if you are reading this I just want to say I love your stuff but I'm getting older and my gigging back is getting weaker PLEASE HELP. :)

I'm almost sure I read somewhere (maybe here) that they are in fact developing a micro bass head but I don't think it's going to be anytime soon though.

I thought I did too but couldn't find it to see if the man Larry chimed in . Man how awesome would that be to have the same power and Hartke sound in a lightweight amp !

He said on here that one is planned for next year, but Larry doesn't rush products to market just to meet deadlines. The Kilo took quite a while from when it was announced to when it came out, for example. And it was years after the first Hartke cabs appeared in the early 80's that he finally even started making amps. Larry has very few Hartke products that have been discontinued, and that's why. So it's coming but don't set your watch by its release date.

Yep,,, I as well would love to see a light weight Hartke head modeled after the LH500 or LH1000,, the simplisity of the head and the tone are great,,,, just too damm heavy.

The one volume knob (with NO gain knob) and the the simple EQ,,,,, very very cool,,,,, I wish more amps were as user friendly and so simple to get a great tone out of.

Cheers
