HARTKE TX 600 VS LX 5500

Apologies if this seems like a silly question but these 2 amps seem really similar to me.

Is one the older/ newer version of the other?

The TX600 was introduced in 2016, while the LX5500 was introduced in 2019.
It lost 100 watts along the way and gained a drive circuit, as well as a pound in weight.
Otherwise, pretty much the same beast.

Thanks for that. Im tempted. Theres a tx600 on music store.com for €366. Been looking at reviews....that EQ would probably annoy me after a while.

Any experience?

None, sorry.
As an owner of a Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.2, I’ve no reason to look for anything else.
