Hartke TX 600

At a backline supplied gig tonite, the rig I was given was a Hartke TX 600 on a Berg 2x10. I was seriously impressed! Big and round and fat sounding. I know how good those cabs sound, but how much of it was the head?
What's the word on these? Reliable? Loud when the going gets tough? service?

Yeah, you know? Berg sound relatively huge

But I can tribute the TX600 experience here

Probably the perfect midfield - down to tone shapin' - between the articulate ha series eq and the more "plug n'play" lh series eq
But remember this... the TX gives its best whenever slightly midscooped and - by consequence - with gain/master value over 12 o'clock

So: fantastic tonewise
Average loudnesswise

Cheers,
Wallace

I have the TX600 with two HD112 cabs and they bring the thunder in the club gigs we play. I'm going against a loud drummer but moderate guitar volume. It's actually one of the better rigs I've played out with. Been an Ampeg SVT4 Pro with 15 and 2x10 for a long time. I really enjoy small, light, and quality sound
