Has anybody tried an H2

I am looking for a way of recording the basses I build. I take them out to gigs and let players check them out on thier breaks andI would like to be able to bring the recording home with me. Any suggestions?

Here are 2 clips of my band reheasal from March 9th. All I did was chop out the song, normalize in Soundforge, export as wav then convert to mp3.

Sounds good "normalize in soundforge"? I know nothing about computer recording. Will I just be able to record mp3's and load them into the computer then e-mail them? Thanks..t

What is the real advantage to the H-3? Why did you go for the H-2? For $100 extra I am thinking about it..t

normalize is a filter that makes the track a 'normal' audio level (volume).

I wanted a good set of mics and a digital recorder. The H4 has too many onboard crap to get in the way.

The H2 is cheaper,
has 4 mics instead of 2,
the H2 is smaller
etc

I guess that's about the gist of it.

Is Normalize aprogram? Got a link?

Both work well... but the H2 has software in it to normalize too I think.

The ear buds are average at best. I do use them with my laptop almost every night I work.
