Has Anybody Tried the EmG X series?

I was just wondering if anybody has??.. On the website, say there less noise floor and stuff.. Anybody has any hands on experience with these guys?. Cuz I'm planning on gettin some 40DC for my Spector but they also have 40DCx. Not sure if there is much of a difference.?? Any input would appreciated.

hands down the X stuff is better. it's the same coils, but with an upgraded, higher-fidelity higher-headroom preamp. they just sound clearer, stronger and more "natural", if that makes any sense.

i'd be surprised if EMG is still making non-X pickups in 5 years.
