Has anyone checked an Ibanez Prestige case on a flight?

I'm going on a tour this summer that will involve some air travel. I'd like to take my Ibanez Prestige 5 string. Anyone have experience with flying with the case it came with? It has a TSA lock on it and seems somewhat sturdy, but...I like this instrument and don't know if I trust the case. Thanks in advance
