Has anyone had a good 2007?

i had a great year. lots of blessings and wonderful things happened. i'm really looking foward to 2008
'07 was a time for a lot of change for me. New home, new career, new friends, new outlook, new perspective, damn near new everything. And I think it was for the better.
Why? Did something bad happen?
Brad, I think you're more than due for a good year. I hope 2008 is a much better year for you. It sounds like it would be hard for it not to be.
My year was good. I dropped out of a program that I loved and hated all at the same time. Got a great job (starting an apprenticeship soon), started down the path that will eventually lead to my career. Bought a bunch of basses, found a sweet tone, play on a worship team that I love, found a guitarist to work with for a band, just need a committed drummer. Good year.

2007 was bad for me. Glad it is over.
Got divorced, lost my dog in the divorce to the ex, grandmother died, etc
However I think 2008 will look much better as I have a brand new girlfriend!!!!

Ivar provided some perspective. Here's some more: I beat cancer this year. Couldn't be any better than that.

I bought a house in '07, but that just means I have student loans AND a mortgage now. So I guess it's a coinflip whether or not it's been good or bad
