Has anyone owned a Ibanez BTB776pb?

[TL;DR]

Well, here is my situation. I just came into some cash strictly to buy a bass. I like buying from my local small town store, andhey just dont have a whole lot of selection. But they do have an Ibanez BTB776pb.
I have 3 basses. All 4 stringers. A mexi p bass, a mexi modified jazz(its for sale!). And I have a peavey t40. And the peav ey is my main.
So I want either a 5 or 6 string. And they only have low end 5ers.

My question to you is, have you ever had any problems with the new BTB's? How long do the batteries last? Ever had any problems with the neck warping?
also, what makes thd 776pb different than the 776? Just the finish?
Any input would be appreciated.

I own one. After buying some 4 string basses over the years of playing guitar, that BTB was the one that really made me want to play bass. Its a great bass, and is well worth the money.

- Have had no major problems since buying it. I only took it in to the shop once to have a truss rod adjustment, mostly because im not to familiar with the truss rod and the 776 has DUAL truss rods.

- Batteries should last a good long while, at least 6 months of solid playing, most likely longer. Honestly, the length of battery life isnt and shouldnt be an issue.

- No neck warping here.

- "776" is the model of the bass. "PB" is just the colour (amber in this case).

Even though i like my BTB776, i wouldnt recommend one of you dont know or have a use for the 6th string. With that extra string comes a wider fretboard, dual truss rods, more weight, more expensive restringing, and so on. Its not really worth it if you wont be making use of the 6th string.

Fortunately, if you think a 5 string would be better suited to your needs, ibanez makes a few 5 string BTBs as well such as the BTB775 (pretty much the 5 string model of the 776, has a different finish), BTB675, and BTB705DX. Your music store should be able to order any of these for you. There are also plenty of sites on the internet to order from.

I have that exact bass and I love it, it sounds great, it's balanced well, the neck is wide but super slender, and fit and finish are fantastic, in fact, I just ordered a BTB775PB, the 5 string model. They really are great basses.

i have the 776pb no problems what so ever. haven't had to change my battery yet but i haven't had it that long. very smooth neck. great bass.

Actually the PB designation isn't the color, it's the wood used for the top. In this case Poplar Burl. I ordered one online and it should be here tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

I have a BTB 555 and love it. You can see all the basses I own and it is one of my favorites. If I had to downsize it would be one of the last ones to go. Now that being said it's got a big neck at 35" and 19mm spacing. Some people don't like this. For me it feels comfortable.

Is the string spacing 19mm on the 6 string?

I read somewhere the 6 string has 17mm spacing. I used to play a yamaha trb6p, anyone if the BTTB776 is as wide?
