Yeah,

I've tried the double sided version of it from that same guy.

It kinda blows.

FOA it had noisey/ bad connection cord issues w/ that wire that comes off it.

I even sent it back to the to repair and I remember it being not much better then before.

SOA the sound was thin and not really usable on my Prescott DB. Never tried it on my easier to amplify German DB.

I did try attatching it accross the inside of one 'f' hole and it was better, but noisey and the mount tempermental.
Went to a Realist and all was good.
