Have DR strings gotten shorter?

I have been a long time DR string fan. I currently use DR Lo-Riders on both of my basses.

My Lull M5 has the option of stringing the B string through the body. I'm fairly certain they were long enough at one time, but now, I can't string them through the body. The windings stop and the smaller wound section does not clear the nut.

Am I imagining this? Anyone else experience this with DR strings or am I delusional (completely possible!)?

How many inches does it not clear?

I've heard that DR string length can very a little between sets.

Hmm i hope my dr hi beams waiting to be put on my 35" lakland thru body will be long enough.. They were fine a long time ago. Hope theyre the same

It misses by about .75- 1in. IIRC.

If it doesn't measure at least 37" I'd contact DR about it for sure.
