Have you ever had a "bowl" haircut?

I saw this pic yesterday, and I'm like, WOW, this guys hair is AMAZING!

My dad cut my hair till I got to high school. He was proficient in two styles: the crew cut and the bowl...I'm Asian.

Until I was 10. Then I learned how to work a part on the side.

I had a mullet for a few years as a kid. It was the only way for me to avoid the dreaded bowlcut. Those chicks at the walk-in haircuterry would stick a bowlcut on a kid so fast, the parents hadn't had time to sit down yet before it was done. They'd slap the side of the chair to make it spin and in one fell swoop would shear your hair in one unbroken horizontal line. Telling them to "leave the back" was the only way to retain any dignity.

When I was a Babydyke, I had a haircut a lot like that. That period lasted about six months, and then I grew it out to a pageboy, and then just let my hair grow again.
