I am looking to get a headcase for the amp section fo my Venture 2x12 combo. It's basically an MPulse600, but with a slanted face. I want to use the amp separately from the combo, like I do occasionally with my Walkabout. I've checked and the head comes out pretty easily.

I read a post a while ago that said that Mesa used to make a headcase for this amp, but when I contacted them about it, they said they no longer did this.

It's pretty much a 2 space unit, 15" deep, but with the key difference being the slanted face.

Anyone have any ideas on where to get one, or even have one built ?

Thanks

so .. no one on th mighty TB have any ideas here ? perhaps there is someone here who can recommend a custom builder ?

I'm thinking something like a Bassman style tolex covered headcase that can slide the Venture/Mpluse head into when needed.

I am not a wood-butcher myself, but it does not seem like it would be a huge problem to do this for someone who had the tools/skills.

Reviving an old thread.....

I'm about to attempt a dis-assembly of my Mesa Venture to exactly what you are (or were) going to do. I found and talked to a cabinet maker (TRM Guitarcabs) and plan on sending the Venture head out for a fitting an all wood (no tolex) case similar to the one pictured below. My question is, how to get to the head for dis-assembly? I'm way better at taking things apart then I am at putting them together, but want to hear from someone who has done this already.
Thanks in advance!!
