Well, "convenience" and curiosity got the best of me. GC had heaphone amps in stock, so I went, bought one with a stereo cable and tried it out. No go. Guess I'll just order one of my original items. At least one of those is cheaper than the headphone amp/cable combo!

Just ordered the Rolls PM52. Let's hope it works when it arrives!

Rolls PM52 works like a charm! And, surprisingly enough, sounds bassier than the cabs do! Guess they must reduce bass, whereas my nice studio headphones don't. Still, awesome!
