So I play in pit orchestras a lot and, recently, we are being run through the house system and we get to keep out amps as monitors just so we can hear ourselves. Well I don't know if it's because of the difference in location or because the keyboard's monitor is so dang loud, but I can't hear myself whatsoever. I need some headphones that are cheap, good for bass, able to function with one ear, and preferably wireless.

Headphones for Live Gigs

Well, they're not wireless, but iGrado phones are inexpensive, transmit bass well, and have an open ear design so you can have them on both ears and still clearly hear ambient sound. Three out of four is a good start.

Grados are great. I'd splurge and get some of the better ones though. And ask the MD if you can move because all you can hear is the keyboard amp (which is likely not aimed where it should be).
