Headrush FRFR Go

Quick update, the Headrush is working fine, but I am not fully convinced. So I ordered a JOYO BA-30 for half the price of the FRFR-GO and will decide which one to keep after a side-by-side comparison.

The JOYO can be powered from a 65W USB powerbank and can be used without a modeler or preamp as it is a full combo amp. The radiator membrane on the back that they copied from Phil Jones looks promising, and the 4" driver is probably better suited for bass.

One 4" speaker vs two 3" speakers? I'm not convinced.
Anyway I'm not looking for a bass amp, I want something for my guitar modeler also.

@antfarm thanks for the update.
@baxter_x thanks for your experience. If it's just ok for bass I might get one.

Copied form Phil Jones???

Perhaps you are unaware that this passive radiator technology goes back to the 1960’s?

Please don’t state something as fact that isn’t true.

I think it's rather obvious the features and design of the JOYO are heavily inspired by the Phil Jones Nanobass X4.

For the record, the JOYO wins hands down. Tone, form factor, sturdiness and build quality are way ahead in my opinion, it also goes louder and deeper. I can power it with a MacBook 65W power adapter, of which I have a few in strategic positions around the house, so the missing battery is not a big deal. A great little amp for the price and the perfect choice for bedroom level practice.
