i've wondered about this one as well. I think they still only have one bass amp model? The Ampeg SVT but I've heard its a really good sim.

Hey our guitar player just got the bigger unit....and he Loves it...no amp on stage and one cable to connect!
Sounds great through the wedges too....haven't tried any effects yet on bass (thats me) but soon.

I’ve been using one since October and I love it! I run it out to a powered monitor and I’m good to go. I’m going to add a second monitor pretty soon and run it in stereo. Kinda slim on choices for bass amp sims, but I’ve made some nice tones with it.
Same here. Our guitarist wanted the GigRig, but found a killer deal on the big one so he went for that. I toyed around with it for a few minutes and was quite impressed on how easy it is to set up a rig.
My GigRig has arrived two days ago. I'm still learning my way around all the possibilities, but the learning curve is steep and once you mastered something you don't forget how it's done. This is a major improvement over some other multies that require reading the manual over and over.
I've found four amp sims that work so far. A Fender Bassman, two SVTs and a B15.
Well...I got my Headrush Gigboard Monday....I had purchased the Line6 HX Stomp first from GC, but the display was TINY ...like 1" x 2" and I am too old to see that! Also def not very intuitive to setup. With the gigboard it is like using an iPad and the setup is fairly intuitive to get started. But can go very deep...if desired. Only tried a few bass amps so far...and they will need tweaking to be good. But I have downloaded some IR responses from website...just haven't had the time to get them loaded yet. More to come after next gig....
This sounds promising. I am very curious how well it will handle Audio Interface duties.
Would it be good enough to eliminate the need for, say, a
Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 USB Audio Interface?
I heard there was bass-oriented stuff added with the 2.1 Firmware update. Has anyone found this to be true?? Thanks so much.
There is a new OD Pedal, an OCD clone. This works fine for bass.
And they added a bunch of IR cabinets, a Markbass 212 and another Fridge.

I switched my setup in my IEM using band.
I used a small pedalboard (comp, Sansamp, reverb) into an Ampeg PF50-T with a barefaced Super Compact. I fed FOH with the transformer output of the Ampeg.
I replaced all this with the Gigboard.
To be on the safe side, I added a Sansamp pedal, a second set of earbuds and a behringer p2 headphone amp to my backup stuff, so that the Headrush or any part of my IEM setup can be replaced in a pinch.
After a couple of rehearsals, I did my first gig set up like that. We had our regular FOH guy mixing us. I was using a couple of different sounds (Normal bass, OD bass, synth-sounds, ambient reverbs) which normally freaks him out, but I spent quite some time getting the levels for each sound sitting just right in the mix.
The FOH guy felt the need to comment on my new setup afterwards, saying that he liked it a lot better than the old setup.

I've heard horror stories of the Headrush stuff and their reliability. But that was a while ago and it may have been nothing in the grand scheme. But it def scared me away from looking at them any further. I have the HXFX and I am very happy with it. Would like to add the Stomp eventually for the amp and cab models.
Time will tell whether reliability becomes an issue, but I've found mine well made so far.

I just pulled the trigger on the Gigboard. As RoxKeller stated above, I also tried the HX Stomp. It did sound good, but that display is indeed a postage stamp. I shouldn't have to bring reading glasses to a gig. Does anyone think there's enough Headrush users to warrant a "Headrush Owners" page? Share patches and advice?
