This is how I explain it in super simple terms, although I'm sure someone like @agedhorse would have a much better way to give to give you much better information in more correct technical terms:

• A "head" is an amplifier, although usually it's actually both a pre-amplifier and an amplifier.
  The pre-amp is what makes the tone (bass, mid, treble, etc.) and the amplifier is what makes the volume.
  
  
• A "cabinet" is a box with speakers in it.
  
  
• A "combo" is where the amp and the cabinet are in the same box.
  
  
• Having separate components gives you more (though not necessarily better) choices.

I’d suggest checking out the larger rumble amps if you’re wanting something bigger than your 15.
The rumble line has a head and cabinet, if that’s the way you’re leaning. They also have the combos. I use a rumble 100 at home. It is by far one of my favorite bass amps.

As has already been stated, the Bassbreaker line is actually geared towards guitar players, not bass players.

While the Rumble 15 is a great amp for learning how to play (my first bass amp was also a 15w 8" Fender, but I don't remember if it was called a "Rumble" a few decades ago ) you will be blown away at the difference in depth, clarity, and feel of something with 100+ watts and a 12" speaker or two 10" speakers!

The Rumble 100 or Ampeg BA210 (the Ampeg is on sale at Guitar Center or Musician's Friend for Memorial Day, I believe!) are great, affordable choices that will serve you well, while not taking up TOO MUCH real estate at home!

You stated you don't have ambitions of joining a band or anything, but I hope that you DO get to share in playing/making music with some buddies at some point! If you DO start playing out a bit, you may find that separates (a head/amp and multiple speaker cabs) provide better sound and more flexibility down the road.

You won't believe the difference in sound when you add lots if square inches of speaker surface area. Right now, it's very likely that you home stereo produces more "bass" than your bass rig.

For four hunnerd bucks you're way down the road toward a lot of amp. Heck, if you're into financing things, 9 bucks a month with no interest at Sweetwater right now.

It cab tilt back to point at your face, it has more power and volume than you'll know what to do with currently. If you decide to hang out with some other guys and play a little, this should hang just fine. And, if not, you have the XLR line out you can run to the PA to let it help with volume.

Yeah, that's how it always gets started.
But not with that amp.

Yes, while it is true, Geddy does not even use amps onstage. But can still get that Geddy punch with mah new p-bass classic 70's vibe. Got blessed and got to see Rush for both R30 and R40! 30 was in Medford Oregon, festival seating, bad view but the blanket, weed, beer and especially the sound were superb. And I swear I saw Neil come out pre-show and check his drum setup. Wearing that signature alchemy hat, shorts and a tee. And for 40 they opened the tour here in Tulsa at the BOK. Last tour Neil had, sadly. Point being...I sat stage right, right side of the mixing board and the camera, so the floor was right in front of me. And Geddy runs his instruments through the mixer rather than amps. Hence the washing machines w. Rush tees and the rotisserie chicken behind him! Sabbath, Moody Blues and Rush were the 3 best shows I have ever seen. (except for good ole Alice Cooper, my first concert!) My last show unfortunately but the best for last was Black Sabbath the End tour 2016. They were not coming here to Tulsa. Dallas was closest and no way I could make that trip. But then they scheduled 3 more North American tours after their European tour and Tulsa was one of their shows!!! Seen Ozzy and Slash Scream tour! But finally got to see my favorite all time band! God gave me that for my last and final show. You see I am too disabled to attend any more shows, hearing is going bad...ect...
