Heath Ledger R.I.P.

Apparently while working with Gilliam on their new film together he intently studied the director's work behind the camera. I think he would have been a wonderful director among the other things he was apparently wonderful at. The whole thing is just such a shame.

Not trolling at all. However, apart from his family (whom I'm sorry for, as I would be for anyone) what the hell difference does it make, just because he was an actor?

Thanks for shedding some light on your choice, however dim it may be. I am writing a paper on social deficiencies and would like to include your posts as a case study. Is this okay with you?

Drugs. That's how. :scowl:

From what I've seen on the news, he was being treated for depression and sleeplessness. Evidently, the breakup with his long-time girlfriend and mother of his child just destroyed him, emotionally.

I'd bet money that he was too fuzzed with anti-depressants, and took more pills than he meant to. When you are on meds that make you bendy, it is very easy to forget that you already took your pills, and then you take more, and then you die.

A friend's mother died like that. She forgot that she'd already taken her anti-depressant, and then she took another. Then she drove off to go to the grocery store, lost control of her car when she passed out, and drove off a 400' cliff at the age of 48. People tried to say that she was just a drug addict, that she drove off the cliff on purpose. But she wasn't. She messed up on her dosage and timing. I'm under the impression that Mr. Ledger did the same.

So sad. I enjoyed many of his films, and always felt he was very talented and would have a long career. All gone, now.

Cherie :(

You say my life's a waste of time
But man, I disagree
I don't know anything so fine
As the life God gave to me
So I'll just go on living
And all the fun life's giving me
One day you'll see it, too

You say that I should be secure
That's all very well
But there's no point in making sure
Tomorrow may be hell
So I'll just go on living
And all the fun life's giving me
One day you'll see it, too

It's not the color of the hair
Or the color of the skin
That tells you that a man is good
Or if he's full of sin

You had a dream
You know you dreamt so much
You had a dream
You know it meant so much

You're just a victim of the circumstance
I mean, what else could you do?
You saw your dream and you just took a chance
And for a while your dream came true
What could you do?

You had a goal
You know you aimed so high
You had soul
You knew you had to try

You're just a victim of the time of day
No matter what you say or do
You saw your dream and you just took a play
And for a while your dream came true
What could you do?
What could you do?
