I first started listening to Bolt Thrower because someone else posted that song a while ago. They're now one of my favorite bands, they are always "on" at the gym or during afternoon traffic!

That bass tone rolls over everything like a tank!

How about a metal track with two bass intros? I was pretty proud of the instrumentals on this song from my main band, which has an intro built around a fuzz bass line, which is followed by a bass break leading into the first verse.

yeah, i rediscovered them thanks to TB! Great band. (A friend made me a cassette* ages ago but it never really stuck)

I recently read that Jo Bench is self taught, but really understands her role of bass player very well in her context. In a band like Bolt Thrower she doesn't have too much room to create independent bass lines so she zeros in on her tone to maximize the whole song. She's also very humble
