Purchased a Line 6 LT and love it, but would really like some way to use it on stage with a bass cab, FRFR, or cab with no coloration so that I can use the IR’s. I’ve read about accugroove, barefaced, ACME, and using PA cabs/monitors to accomplish this, but I’m curious what other are using and what other option there might be?

Over the weekend, I had FOH support and the monitor I used was a EV ELX15. It sounded pretty solid, but again curious as to what others are using and what my best options are.

Thanks for the help!

I’m running an HX Stomp but straight to FOH for church. I’ve asked the question before too but no real answers. The best recommendation I have/got was the QSC K10 or K12 for bass. They were both more than I wanted to spend for home use as we are a silent stage at church. Good luck in your search.

I’ve had good experiences with QSC in the past, and an overall good vibe with their gear. For my needs I found the K series a bit pricey/overkill. I chose the CP12 and have been very happy with its performance. I got two, so I can use them for a small PA, electronic drums in stereo, or bass. My thinking for bass was that I could scale the application, bring one or two, depending on the need. Haven’t found a jam yet that I needed more than one to easily handle my bass.
If you like to use suboctave effects at pungent levels, you will need a second cab or a good HPF.
