Helix Stomp or individual pedals

I bought from Ian Allison. He has three 4-paks right now. He's on all the socials. You can find the link somewhere. He also is planning on some new one's soon. Classic amps and/or synths. B15, 808, stuff like that.

They aren't all "practical" but he is straight up about it. Some are an "Inspiration" pack. There are 3 in the "Signature" Pack that I use a lot. Worth the price for those 3 in my mind. Then there's a "Synth" Pack. I use a couple of those as well. I just talked about some new ones (maybe before Christmas) that would be classic amps and/or synths. B15. 808. Stuff like that. My CC is ready.

I use 3 from the Signature Pack - IMA Sig, Ultimate DI and Ultimate Amp. The IMA Sig has octave, drive and chorus as effects. Hit combos of those for a couple nice basic synth sounds. I can play maybe 90% of my stuff using that single preset. I use Chewy and Leviathan from the Synth Pack. That gets the last 10%.

Very anxious to see what the new packs will have.

When you buy/download them there should be something to click to open them up in a folder I think. You click on each preset and drag them to the desired preset spot on the Stomp - you need to have HX Edit open.

I was able to get some presets myself that sounded ok, but I have since started using presets that others have made and I am much happier. All I've done is try to be sure the output level is the same for all of them. Not too hard to do. Maybe one day I'll really dig in and tweak all the things myself, but for now, these presets I've downloaded sound great and do what I need.

The convenience of having everything I need (bass, bass synth, effects, tuner, DI) all on a Nano+ board outweighs the rest.

I have to admit, the new HX One has my attention. Even smaller. Even simpler. One effect at a time.

Hey All,
So I've been using the Stomp for a while now. Mostly for amp/cab sims, and a few effects. For some reason, running the Stomp into my effects return, the volume is very low.
I've adjusted the output volume on each patch up, and the output is set to line, but the the volume is still much lower than the amp would be, (with the Stomp's volume full up).
Does anyone know why this might be?
