Hey everyone! I have already made a post when I was pulling my hair out with a technical issue. It's all better now I appreciate the response I got for you all! So I thought I'd take a minute and give a little introduction. I got my first bass when I was 16 for Christmas, and I still have it, it was a generic thing my parents found and bout for me. I wanted drums I feel I am a natural drummer but they said the noise was too much so a bass was my 2nd choice. I have absolutely come to love the bass. I literally played that thing with no amp mind you for hours and hours day after day till my fingers bled! It's true what they say. I had not idea what I was playing but it was fun. Later I bought myself a cheap Peavey keyboard amp and things definitely changed. I hooked up with a couple guys from school and they introduced me to tablature. So I fumbled my way around with that for years. As high school ended and we all drifted apart and free time seemed to evaporate the bass fell farther and farther away from me. Ended up selling the amp as I needed money to fix my car so I could get to work. My precious beat up mistreated bass just sat. About 10 years ago my wife to be bought me my Fender Rumble 25 for Christmas I was ecstatic! I stated messing around with that for a while but the fact is I never really learned how to play. Then wierd things started happening with my bass. Wiring and issues with the electronics I guess so away it went again. I thought I had fixed it for a time did a little soldering and it seemed better but not right. Then my beautiful wife bought me an Ibanez GSR200. I ended up injured at work, elbow then after that healed thumb. So now I am finally starting on my quest again. This time trying to learn the bass learn music and do it right. No pick this time just fingers. So that's a glimpse into my adventures in bass thus far hopefully it's a grand one. Have a great day everyone I hope to learn and grow with you all.
