Just wanted to say "hello" to all.

I started playing the bass a little over a year ago. I'm in a rock band and always looking for cool sites and advice. And also other chick bassists

OK, so I'll reply by saying "hello" and also introducing myself. I played in a semi-serious band 20 years ago. In the past two years (and after learning how to manage day job, marriage, kids, addiction, etc.) I've re-sparked my interest. This is a good place to "start" !

learn all your major6th and minor jazz scales(pentatonics)and learn how to walk. put in the time, be patient and you will be able to play anything and come up with anything. though a bit before your time check out James Jamerson he is the greatest bass player of all time........there's nothing more beautiful than a chick with warm phat juicy bottom.$$
