Hello all.

Hello TB. I've been lurking on here for long enough now that I thought it was wise to register! I'm a 20 year old student with a couple of bands on the go in Edinburgh, Scotland. I've only been playing bass for 2 years, though I've been playing guitar for 8 years and Violin/Viola for 15 years.

I got sick of the guitar after playing in highschool bands for about 6 years. Got into the bass after hearing the Grateful Dead's Live Dead album and the first two Black Sabbath albums.

I'm left handed by birth, and do the bulk of my everyday things with my left hand stronger. Yet I play bass the righthanded way. I was taught the Violin this way (you rarely if ever see a lefty fiddler) so I always associate the left hand with the one pinning down the notes.
