Hey everybody, my name is Joel. Im a bass player from lansing michigan.
I first got my start at bass with a peavy 8" combo and a fender p-bass knockoff in 1995. Since then, ive owned only 3 bass guitars, until i found my current "wife", a 1987 Ernie Ball Sterling.
Amp wise, im a little deficient. Ive owned a lot of hartke but i hated their sound, so ive been replacing the speakers with Emeninence and EV Drivers. I still own a hartke 7000 head, which has been my workhorse for the last 8 years.
Ive played with many many people in my home town, and i love to stay active, playing almost 5 nights a week. Currently, im getting paid to play and i love it.
Glad there is an active forum for us bass players, and i look forward to getting to know more of you as i stick around here.
