Hello everyone!

New to TB, just signed up last week (but have been lurking a few years). Been playing, on and off, since the mid 1970s. Yes I'm old! I am a Classic Rocker with a little Jazz and Blues influence. A couple of my biggest influences are McCartney, Mel Schacher, and later on, Tony Bowers. I live out in the country in Northeast Texas, so it is a bit more difficult finding folks to jam with. I look forward to speaking with y'all in the future.

Thanks Malcolm, I bet we've passed each other in the aisles of Wal-Mart. I'm just up the road in Quitman.
There used to be jamming at the library once a month in Quitman, is it still going on? The librarian was the upright bass player and she and her husband kinda ran the jam. If it's still active check it out. It's an acoustic jam, no amps or drums. I never went, but, have seen them at Dew's picking parlor and at the Gazebo here in Mineola.

Yea these woods are full of musicians so it's not hard to find a jamming circle.
