Hi!
My name is Mert and I've been playing for 2 years now. I finally decided to create an account on Talk Bass and be a part of an amazing community. I created a post prior to this one and the members were very helpful! The reason why I started playing bass? I love listening to Rock / Metal and the main reason why I started picking up the bass is because of Cliff Burton, who is my favorite bassist next to Geddy Lee and John Entwistle. I am still a total noob and learning a lot. I actually started playing bass on Rocksmith first, which is a game where you can learn to play guitar or bass. My first bass guitar was a Harley Benton PB-20 which was included in a set with a combo box, a gig bag and other stuff. I finally was able to save enough money for one of my dream bass guitars, a Gibson SG. Always loved the design and the tone. And it's so easy to play because its a shortscale. I know many people don't like it but I personally love it! I am still a total noob and I need to learn a lot. And I think that's about it. Thanks for reading.
