Howdy. My name is John Wescott. I'm a guitar repairmen/crappy bassist in the Los Angeles area. I probably know a few of you guys already.
I just got banned from another (non music related) forum, so I need a new place to waste some time! I promise to behave myself here.
As far as basses go, I'm mostly into old P basses and old Kay/Harmony hollow bodies, like H-22s and Howlin' Wolf basses.
As far as players go, I like James Jamerson, Jack Casady, Phil Chen, and a few others. There is a local guy here in LA named Dave Wilder that I think is really good.
