Hi fellow bass players, I'm a long time reader and I decided it was more than time to join the fun. (Ok i had a couple of questions to ask as well)
I started playing bass in the mid 90's because there were too many guitar players in the so called band/ group of friends. And I pretty much didn't touch a bass during the first decade of 2000.
I restarted playing a bit with the same group of friends 20 years after and we are all as bad or pretty much as we were.
Except we aren't under influence or intoxicated when we play ...so we pretty much realize how bad we sound... Still I's fun !
We mostly play reggae, ska, oriental music, a bit of funk or old school hip hop.
