Hello from Finland!

Hi, I just registered to this forum although I've been reading the newsletter for a while. I started bass playing for six years ago. I'm taking normal and also slap lessons, and play in an amateur rock band. I've kept buying one bass per year (not on purpose, but somehow they just COME :-D) and I have a mexican Fender Jazz, Yamaha BB414, hollow-body Aria from the 70's, Ibanez Roadstar, Fender Modern Player Telecaster, and a Sterling Ray which I use for slapping. I love them all! Merry Christmas!

Ahh, the land of Darkglass...

I'm sure I speak for almost everyone when I say we'd love to see pics of the hollow-body Aria.

Welcome to TB!

Thank you SunByrne! Here's two pics of the senior citizen from Matsumoku, Japan :-)

Welcome to TB.
Thank you!
I'm new today as well. Merry Christmas!

One bass per year....awesome. Any favourites?

Welcome to you also!
Well, if I have to choose, I'll say the Telecaster..I like it's very functional form and the tan and black colouring. It has a huge sound and sturdy structure. A bit heavy, but that's not a problem because I use a strap with hip belt. Telebass.jpg
